Comments from our parents

Bexley grammar is a school that I know encourages learning, and that is the most important thing to me. In my opinion, schools shouldn't push students to get the top grades in the whole country, but they should encourage students to have a passion for studying and obtaining knowledge - Bexley grammar truly does produce well-rounded, hard-working individuals who want to learn and to me, that's all that matters!

At BGS students gain a rounded education under the IB with supportive and caring teachers who have positive aspirations for pupils.

As always the school is supportive and gives detailed feedback on both academic and personal development. Working in a different school in Bexley, I stress to my son regularly just how fortunate he is to be getting such a fantastic education and not to waste the opportunity.

We were attracted by the atmosphere of the school community, it felt like a happy, safe and good school. Good relationships between teachers, students and admin staff.

The support that BGS offered my son was unsurpassed.

At BGS teaching standards are high and teachers cater for my child's needs carefully.

We were attracted by the IB, the possibility to learn a more international and wider curriculum.

BGS has helped shape my daughter into an ambitious, driven, hardworking, and thoughtful young lady. I could not be happier with her well rounded education.

There is a happy, nurturing atmosphere at BGS and the wider education of the IB is great!

My son did not attend this school and has only swapped for sixth form - we were drawn by the good reputation of BGS.  He has quickly settled in to the IB and has made excellent friends.

The high standards and professionalism of the teaching staff is impressive.

My daughter was so happy with her subjects, teachers and friends from lower school she didn’t even consider any other sixth form.
