  • Retro Races raise £1,200 for Sports Relief 2018!

    Published 24/05/18

For Sports Relief 2018 students in Year 7-9 were encouraged to take part in some 'Retro' / 'Old school'  sporting activities during their lunchtime. Parents had kindly donated equipment, and the BGS School Council students gave up their time to help out.  Students took part in activities including sack races, egg & spoon races and group skipping.  They had so much fun and we are now looking into buying skipping ropes for students to use at lunchtime.

We also held a full school non-uniform day, and with both events combined raised over £1200, as well as encouraging our students to get more active.

Thanks to everyone who gave their money, time and equipment.
