  • Key Stage 3 Drama Production - 'Taming of the Shrew'

    This was the first time I had ever read Shakespeare, let alone performed it yet I, along with all of the cast, really made a connection with the character I played. This was the third drama production I’ve been involved with since starting BGS in September and I would definitely recommend anyone else to get involved in the future.

  • Year 10s participate in The Duke of Edinburgh Expedition!

    Last weekend a group of brave Year 10s made their way to Downe to tackle the Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award. The weekend proved to be more challenging than many of us expected, but all in all it was a very rewarding experience.

  • Accounting’s not boring!

    Over the past few years we have noticed a significant increase in interest from our Sixth Formers in the accounting profession. Quite a number of our students go on to study this subject at university, sometimes assisted by one of the big four audit firms such as KPMG or PricewaterhouseCoopers. In addition, some of our students join these accounting firms as school leavers as they like the idea of being employed whilst studying for their professional qualifications.
