Head of Computing
Main/Upper Pay Scale (including OLW) + TLR C (£6,646 pa)
We seek to appoint a Head of Computing from September 2019 to lead a successful and highly motivated department in an outstanding school with a reputation for superb teacher-pupil relationships and with opportunities for career progression. The successful candidate will be well-qualified and/or have relevant experience in computing and coding.
This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with a vision for increasing the relevance of Computing skills in our rapidly-changing world. Candidates will offer leadership skills and will have proven experience of strong teaching across all three key stages. Candidates must have the ability to teach Computer Science at A level or equivalent. It would be helpful for candidates to have experience of using Google Suite for Education and to be able to further the school’s delivery of this cloud-based technology, both within the classroom and as part of the school’s overall IT strategy. Bexley Grammar School is an oversubscribed, high achieving, coeducational selective school, rated as ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted for over a decade.
