In December, a group of students from Year 13 had the opportunity to attend a lecture at The London School of Economics (LSE), titled “Should the UK have a wealth tax? The Wealth Tax Commission 5 years on.”
On Wednesday 14th January, 31 Sixth Formers were given the chance to see the Cirque du Soleil OVO at the Royal Albert Hall.
During the winter break, Ella Tyler and I had the opportunity to attend the London Schools Symphony Orchestra.
This has been a very busy term for House competitions: House Music, Junior, Intermediate and Senior Sports: Netball & Football; Harvest Box and Intermediate & Senior Cookery.
We have had a wonderful December in the music department.

Back in July 2025, pupils from all year groups were invited to take part in the Stephen Spender Prize for Translation run by the Stephen Spender Trust.
Each week in Senior Science Society (M15 during P5 lunch), our Year 12 students deliver “science presentations”.
The contribution of nations within the British Empire was immense, and it is now generally accepted that without it, Britain would have found the conflict more difficult.
