IB Students, Class of 2017
Last Friday we said goodbye to the Year 13 IB students as they left on study leave. Exams come around very quickly with the Business and Management examination starting the ball rolling on Friday 28th April.

Last Friday we said goodbye to the Year 13 IB students as they left on study leave. Exams come around very quickly with the Business and Management examination starting the ball rolling on Friday 28th April.
This year’s big school concert took place on Monday evening this week, and featured a wide range of school ensembles. There was a wide range of music on display, including music from the opera, Carmen by Bizet, performed by Symphony Orchestra; Senior Choir performed a medley of music by McFly, and Chamber Choir impressed with their interpretations of Disney classics ‘When She Loved Me’ from Toy Story and a new take on the Monkey song from the Jungle Book.
On Wednesday night the Young Enterprise team competed against 6 other teams in the South East London finals of the Company Competition.
We were fortunate to host a group of students from Japan on an exchange trip. On the 1st March my fellow host students and I went to London with the Japanese students.
Congratulations to Classics, Science, MFL, Art, English and History; we are 'School of the Week' on the Prince's Trust website.
On the 19th February, the members of The Big Band Theory (the new name for the Big Band…) travelled to Camden to partake in the regional heats of the 2017 Music For Youth competition, and to hopefully follow on the success of the Improv Group last year.
