Published 06/02/20On Wednesday 5th February, the Year 10 Music students along with a couple of Sixth Formers went to see the West End musical 'Wicked', particularly to see the song 'Defying Gravity' which is one of the set pieces we have to study. It was a fantastic evening full of amazing singing and some awesome instrumentalists in the pit to really bring the show to life.

Published 16/01/20On Sunday 12th January, members of our Senior Choir travelled to Barking to perform at the Regionals of the Jack Petchey Pitch Perfect Grand Final. In June 2019, we auditioned for the competition and made it from 30 groups to the final 16. We performed at the Regionals with 7 other choral groups, and were amazed that we made it to the final 8! Published 19/11/19Each of the six subjects taken by IB students is graded out of seven. The Extended Essay and Theory of Knowledge are combined to give up to three core points and the total Diploma score is therefore a maximum 45 points.
Celebrating her incredible success at Bexley Grammar School this year was Corinna Dunzendorfer, who achieved the perfect 45 points alongside only 200 or so students worldwide!

Published 01/08/19After an extremely successful summer, the BGS Horticultural Society has resumed its activity at the start of September. Thanks to a wonderful team of student helpers, from Year 7 through to Year 13, lots of new baby plants have been planted, including broccoli, artichokes, kale, cabbage, all sorts of lettuce, turnips, carrots, potatoes and more!
