Gabriel and Amrit qualified for the Aquatics GB Next Gen Swimming championships in Sheffield at the end of July and performed brilliantly. Gabi finished 6th in the 100m Backstroke and 7th in the 200m Backstroke, while Amrit secured silver medals in both the 100m Butterfly and 200m Freestyle, while also finishing no worse than 5th across seven different strokes and distances!

Both Amrit and Gabi have been selected to the National Age Group Development Programme (NAGDP) for the year as a result of their achievements.  We are thrilled to have such high level performers at BGS.

Congratulations James!

James (Year 10), who has long been representing Kent in badminton, made his England debut this summer.

He competed in the mixed doubles in the Yonex, All England Junior Badminton Championships 2026 in Birmingham. James and his partner reached the round of 32. James's progression has been so impressive to watch – and we're super lucky to have a player of his ability as part of our badminton squad, too!

Many congratulations to him. We'll be proud to add his name to our representative honours board for a second time!
