PE Sports Report 17/9/25

Girls' Cricket

Massive congratulations to Aarohi, Maria and Florence for their part in Bexley U13 winning the national cup at Lord’s on Sunday. This comes on the back of victories in the league, the Southern Counties regional competition and the Kent 80-ball competition (and helping Bexley Grammar win the Southern chance to shine comp!) We’re very proud of them all.

Year 10 Cricket

More cricketing success from a couple of our Year 10 boys! Ethan and Atharva helped Kent (West) to a national title win at Lord’s on Saturday. Ethan was the top wicket taker on the day, and Atharva chipped in with 29 runs. This is a fantastic achievement for the boys playing at a very high level. Well done!

Year 8 Football

Tough first match for the lads against Coopers School. We were thrown straight into the game with possession bouncing back and forth with many opportunities from both teams before Coopers scored just before half-time. The weather was not ideal, yet we battled on in the cold, wet rain. Unfortunately, the game ended in a tough, undeserved loss as Coopers scored late goals as we pushed for an equaliser, but we went again and pushed for our first win of the season in the games to come.
