Year 7 Rounders Team Ends the Season with a Victory!

The Year 7 rounders' team wrapped up their season in style with a hard-fought win over Trinity. In an exciting match played over two innings, our team demonstrated fantastic teamwork and skill to secure a 16–12 victory.

It was a brilliant squad performance, with both batting and fielding on point throughout. The team showed great determination and coordination, capitalising on scoring opportunities and holding strong on the field when it mattered most.

A special mention goes to Rose, who was deservedly voted 'Player of the Match' by the opposition for her outstanding batting display.

Well done to all involved; a great way to finish the season!

Year 10 GCSE Rock Climbing Course

Year 10 GCSE students recently had the exciting opportunity to take part in a rock climbing course as part of their practical assessment.  Held at the Lower Grange Farm, the intimate and supportive setting allowed students to rapidly develop their climbing skills in preparation for their upcoming assessment.

It was a scorching, challenging and intense week – learning the ropes both literally and figuratively!  The dedication and resilience shown by our students has been outstanding, with some fantastic grades now being put forward as a result of their hard work.

A huge well done to everyone involved! Thank you to the staff that also accompanied them in order to make this happen. It’s much appreciated.

Wimbledon trip 2025

As a reward for their outstanding attendance at co-curricular sporting clubs, a group students were treated to a memorable trip to the world-famous Wimbledon Championships.

Lucky enough to secure tickets to the No.2 court at the iconic All England Club, they witnessed an absolute thriller between Marin Čilić and rising star Flavio Cobolli which was packed with intensity, drama and world-class tennis.

Students embraced the atmosphere of the prestigious event and, despite being a little shattered by the end of a long and exciting day, the students were a credit to the school and had a genuine appreciation for the opportunity. Thank you.
