Earth Day 2026

Years 7, 8 and 9 celebrated Earth Day, which was held globally on the 22nd of April.

Earth Day is an annual global event held to promote environmental protection, sustainability, and awareness of climate and nature.  See what our students have created and what they have said about their activities!

Year 9: World Earth Day

World Earth day is on 22nd April every year and gives us the opportunity to acknowledge the impact we have on this world and not to take it for granted. World Earth day is celebrated by more than one billion globally.  At Bexley Grammar we celebrated our Earth by getting creative.   The Year 9s reused old clothing and bags to create works of art inspired by the dangers our world faces today. The Year 8s followed the same message, making collages and the Year 7s made re-usable bookmarks.

Participating in these activities, we contributed to promoting awareness of issues like global warming and oil production that harm our precious world, because remember there is no planet B.
