How To Instantly Feel Better

Here are some simple suggestions of things you can do when it feels like your emotions are not on your side.

When you are feeling...

Walk to process and calm your thoughts.
  • Overthinking
    Write your thoughts down.
  • Overwhelmed
Write a list of things you need to get done. Focus on one task at a time based on its importance.
  • Anxious
Breathe. Deep, slow breaths calm anxious thoughts.
  • Stressed
Exercise is the most effective way to boost endorphins, the neurotransmitter responsible for de-stressing your mind.
  • Sad
Gratitude is a simple, scientifically effective way to raise positivity and happiness within the brain.
  • Lazy
A cold Shower raises dopamine which is responsible for your capacity to feel motivated.
