Debate Competition

On Saturday 20th September 2025, we had the opportunity to take part in a debate competition hosted by Saint Paul's Girls School (SPGS) in Hammersmith.

It was an exciting experience from the very start, as we travelled by train independently and met our teachers at the school. The competition was run entirely by Sixth Formers.

We debated a range of thought-provoking motions, varying from topics like AI and ChatGPT to kidfluencers like Piper Rockelle and Salish Matter, against students from Year 9 all the way up to Year 12. Everyone gained valuable experience and had a lot of fun throughout the day.

Huge congratulations go to Alex and Zoe for making it to the Silver Final; we are so proud of them!

Overall, it was an enjoyable and memorable day, and we are looking forward to more debating opportunities like this in the future.
