London Ambulance London Lifesavers Training

On Tuesday 17th June, 170 Year 8 students and 31 members of staff took part in London Lifesavers training, a programme delivered by the London Ambulance service to train students in CPR and using a defibrillator.

Nuno Arendse-Hernandez and Nathan De Guzman from 8NMG said the following:

In our opinion, the London Ambulance First Aid session was very educational and was effective in informing us about the dangers of cardiac arrest. It gave us the confidence to save someone in times of need through clear demonstration from the team and interactive practicals. Overall, our class believes that the London Ambulance team gave us a really immersive real-life experience that has equipped us with lifelong skills!

Well done to all the students and staff that took part!
