On Monday 1st and Tuesday 2nd March we welcomed in Mike from Inspireworks who came to deliver Gamelan workshops to all of our Year 7 students, as well as sessions for our Year 10 GCSE Music and Year 12 Music IB students. To have authentic Balinese Gamelan instruments in school was amazing and the classes all rose to the challenge of learning a 'warrior dance' piece of music from Bali. Mike was able to teach our students from his first-hand experience of living and learning Gamelan in Bali. 

Congratulations to all the students involved, you sounded amazing, and a big thank you to Ms Klyuyeva for organising this event.
