Mr Jones was the second Headteacher of the school and was in post from 1976-1995. 

Former staff and students speak of his warmth and kindness, and the pastoral nature of his leadership. 

Mr Jones returned regularly after retiring and was always keen to share a humorous anecdote from his time at the school.
