Sailing Club

The participants for this year’s sailing club have now been confirmed and notified via email. Due to the high level of interest, we were unfortunately unable to offer places to all students who expressed an interest in this first series of sessions.

We hope to continue running the club in the future, and encourage those who were not selected this time to apply again, as we anticipate further opportunities will be available.

Layla is running the Race for Life!

Layla Evans in Year 12 is taking part in a "Pretty Muddy 5k" as a fundraiser for Cancer research. She explains her motivation below:

Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives.

When I was 5, my dad passed away from cancer, and it changed all of my family's lives. I would love to raise as much money as I can to help support cancer research and save as many lives as possible, so fewer people have to suffer, and fewer families have to lose the ones they love. Research gives families hope, and it gives people more time, more memories, and more of the moments that matter most.

Thank you!

Major cheat code in life ~ part 2

  1. Treat compliments like facts instead of deflecting them. Your brain believes what you tell it is true, so let the good stuff in.
  2. When stuck between two choices, flip a coin and notice how you feel about the result. Your gut reaction in that split second tells you what you actually wanted all along.
  3. Act like every plot twist is research for your future memoir, not a mistake that defines your entire story. Trust that the detours are leading you to somewhere awesome!

GCSE Contingency Sessions Summer 2026

Please note, the awarding bodies have designated the morning and afternoon sessions of Wednesday 24th June 2026 as ‘contingency sessions’.

These contingency sessions are designed to be used in the event of national or significant local disruption to examinations. This means that all exam candidates must be available to sit exams from the date of their first exam until Wednesday 24th June 2026. This decision is not a school decision and does apply to all candidates in all schools.
