Be kind to yourself

Before you can be kind to others, learn to be kind to yourself.

Never forget that the most important relationship you will ever have is your relationship with yourself.

Spend time investing in it.

Have a lovely week.

TikTok Safeguarding Alert from NHS England

NHS England, have contacted schools to warn that two young adults with a wide following are encouraging self-harm on TikTok.

They appear to be engaging with vulnerable young people.

They have asked that we remind parents/carers as the bill payers of any mobile device, of their responsibility to monitor the content of devices, and to share any safeguarding concerns.

GCSE Contingency Sessions Summer 2026

Please note, the awarding bodies have designated the morning and afternoon sessions of Wednesday 24th June 2026 as ‘contingency sessions’.

These contingency sessions are designed to be used in the event of national or significant local disruption to examinations. This means that all exam candidates must be available to sit exams from the date of their first exam until Wednesday 24th June 2026. This decision is not a school decision and does apply to all candidates in all schools.

Lost Property

The photo below shows some of the recent additions to lost property. These water bottles and pencil cases are ALL UNNAMED. Please ask your child to come to collect their lost item if it is in any of the pictures. Any items not collected by Friday 13th February will be disposed of.

Alternatively, you can click on the link here to report any lost property or email us directly via reception@bexleygs.co.uk.

Please may we remind parents/carers to write your child's name on all of their belongings so that we can return any lost items to them. If belongings are handed in to us, and they are named, we will contact the student directly, so please ask your child to check their school email account to see if we have messaged them.

Thank you
