Reminders for the Over Thinkers

  • Just because you think it, doesn't mean it's true.
  • Not every thought has to be solved immediately.
  • Mistakes = human, not 'I'm bad'.
  • One awkward moment doesn't define you.
  • You can pause, breathe and reply later.
  • You don't have to earn rest.
  • You're allowed to say no.
  • It's not your job to manage everyone's emotions.

GCSE Contingency Sessions Summer 2026

Please note, the awarding bodies have designated the morning and afternoon sessions of Wednesday 24th June 2026 as ‘contingency sessions’.

These contingency sessions are designed to be used in the event of national or significant local disruption to examinations. This means that all exam candidates must be available to sit exams from the date of their first exam until Wednesday 24th June 2026. This decision is not a school decision and does apply to all candidates in all schools.
