Winter 1908. Snow is falling across London. Wendy Darling and her brothers sleep peacefully in their bedroom, as their parents bicker downstairs. In a sudden flurry of snow, their window blows open, and into their lives tumbles a mischievous boy called Peter, followed by an irritable fairy called Tink.

With the aid of a little fairy dust, Wendy agrees to fly with Peter to Neverland, seeing not only the promise of an awfully big adventure, but also the chance to rediscover the key to her parents' lost happiness. Once there, she will give the Lost Boys a run for their money, defeat Captain Hook and his pirate crew, and ultimately, learn what it means to grow up.

Join us for this fun-filled, reimagining of this family classic that’s full of surprises, laughter, and heart! With two casts and over 110 wonderfully talented students bringing the story to life, it’s a must-see production for all ages.

All the lighting, sound, and projection design is done by our talented students, showcasing their creativity and hard work behind the scenes.

Please note this performance is in the K10 Theatre and not the Hall. Please enter the premises through the top car park (by the roundabout) and not the bottom car park (by Danson Park). Entrance to the K Block and Theatre are sign posted from the car park.

A Message from the Headteacher

Food Bank in Welling

The Salvation Army has opened a food bank in Welling due to the growing need to support families in the local community. We'd like to encourage members of the BGS community to donate and support this and other, similar initiatives in the local area.

Mr Gilmore, Headteacher

Focus on what's in front of you

When the list of tasks facing you looks impossible, stop.
Stop staring at the whole mountain.
Pick one small rock to move today.
Tomorrow, another.
Your racing thoughts create the paralysis, not the work itself.

Don't get overwhelmed trying to fix and do everything at once, just focus on what's in front of you. Create a to-do list and work your way through it, one little step at a time. Don't forget to tick/cross off when complete.

GCSE Contingency Sessions Summer 2026

Please note, the awarding bodies have designated the morning and afternoon sessions of Wednesday 24th June 2026 as ‘contingency sessions’.

These contingency sessions are designed to be used in the event of national or significant local disruption to examinations. This means that all exam candidates must be available to sit exams from the date of their first exam until Wednesday 24th June 2026. This decision is not a school decision and does apply to all candidates in all schools.
