Congratulations to our Year 13 IB students and their teachers for the IB results, which were released on Saturday 5th July 2025. We're very pleased to continue to maintain high standards at BGS, and an impressive average point score of 34 points.

Platinum Jubilee Fundraiser Update

Dear all,

Thank you so much for your contributions to date: we have raised £1,847! We’d love to reach or even surpass the amount raised for the school’s silver jubilee in 1980 of £2,350, which was used to build the Sixth Form Centre.

If circumstances are such that you might consider giving a donation to the school, everyone would be very gratefully received and will help us to develop our facilities for our growing Sixth Form.

GCSE Results Day 2025

GCSE Results for Year 11 will be available for collection from 9am on Thursday 21st August 2025.   Uncollected results will be emailed to your school email account later that day. Should you encounter any problems receiving your results, please email the Examinations Officer, Mrs Bono (bono_a@bexleygs.co.uk)

If you wish any other person (including family members) to collect your results on your behalf, you must give your written authorisation to the Examinations Officer before results day.

Your GCSE certificates will be presented to pupils at a school assembly in November. Pupils who do not attend can collect their certificates from the Examinations Office.

Lost Property

The photos below show PE kit bags that have been found around the school in various locations. If your child has recently lost their PE kit please ask them to check if it has been handed in at the reception.

Please may we remind parents/carers to write your child's name on all of their belongings so that we can return any lost items to them. If belongings are handed in to us, and they are named, we will contact the student directly, so please ask your child to check their school email account to see if we have messaged them.

End of Term Unclaimed Lost Property Notice (4th reminder)

Any items which are not claimed by the end of the summer term will be donated to local charities, the Salvation Army or disposed of.
