Read for Good - Sponsored Read

This term I am launching a sponsored read for the charity Read for Good. Students can sign up to read as many books (or chapters of books) in 3 weeks as they can, and raise money for children's hospitals to be supplied with both books and readers. Any student wishing to take part can sign up in the library and collect a sponsorship pack.

For more information about what the charity does, please visit their website:

Book donations for Summer Fayre

I am going to be running a stall selling books at the fayre, and would gratefully appreciate any donations of books to sell, in particular children's books and young adult books. If you have any donations, please can they be dropped in at Reception by the 4th June.

Many thanks,

Mrs Carey, Librarian

Junior Shakespeare Production 2025

Dates: Wednesday 7th May & Friday 9th May 2025
Tickets: £7 for adults & £5 for students
Venue: K10 Theatre

Probably Shakespeare's most well-known and popular play, Romeo and Juliet is being presented to you by an excellent cast composed of Years 7, 8 and 9. Don’t miss this electrifying performance where love and violence collide! With passion, precision, and raw emotion, they dive head first into Shakespeare’s iconic tale of love, rivalry, and tragedy. Expect powerful performances, intense drama, and a night of unforgettable theatre.

This uplifting performance runs for two nights only (Wednesday 7th May and Friday 9th May at 7.00pm) for approximately an hour. Refreshments will be available at this event, so remember to bring spare change to enjoy the performance.

Performances will be in the K10 Theatre and not the Hall. Please enter the school through the top car park and enter through the K10 (follow signs for the Theatre) at the end of the car park just before the field.

Tickets are limited and demand is high, so make sure you get your ticket soon to see the Bard at his best.  This year we are selling tickets online (via the link below) and this enables you to pre-book using card payment.
