Read for Good - Sponsored Read

This term I am launching a sponsored read for the charity Read for Good. Students can sign up to read as many books (or chapters of books) in 3 weeks as they can, and raise money for children's hospitals to be supplied with both books and readers. Any student wishing to take part can sign up in the library and collect a sponsorship pack.

For more information about what the charity does, please visit their website:

Book donations for Summer Fayre

I am going to be running a stall selling books at the fayre, and would gratefully appreciate any donations of books to sell, in particular children's books and young adult books. If you have any donations, please can they be dropped in at Reception by the 4th June.

Many thanks,

Mrs Carey, Librarian

Erith Leisure Centre is working in partnership with British Triathlon to run a ‘Mini’ Triathlon event on the 17th May 2025. The event involves a 50m swim, into a 5km bike ride, into a 1km run.

However, there is also an advanced Swim, Bike, Run for those that are looking for the extra challenge.

The event is open to both adults and children aged 6 and above and can be entered individually or as a family. It's a fantastic opportunity for your pupils to try something new.

If you don’t have a bike, this is not an issue – there are spin bikes available for you to take part!

More information and sign-up details can be found below-
